Victor Aller (1905-77)
Brother of the cellist Eleanor Aller, and hence brother-in-law of Felix Sklatkin, Victor Aller was the pianist on several recordings with the Hollywood Quartet, notably the Quintets of Brahms, Franck & Shostakovich, and the Piano Quartets of Brahms.
He also recorded several concertante pieces with Felix Slatkin on the podium, and assisted a number of actors in preparing for their roles as pianists in feature films, most notably Victor Francen in "Beast with Five Fingers" and Dirk Bogarde as Liszt in "Song without end".
